Basketball Game Preview: Winslow Bulldogs vs. Show Low Cougars

The Winslow Bulldogs will face off against the Show Low Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Winslow is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Winslow came up short against St. Johns and fell 54-47. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 157th, while the Redskins are ranked 24th).

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Taylin Puhuhefvaya, who posted 16 points. Allison Holiday was another key player, putting up eight points.

Meanwhile, Show Low took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 60-18 victory over Florence.

Show Low's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-5. As for Winslow, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.
