Basketball Recap: Chloe Mcghee Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Man

On Friday, the Liberty Raiders strolled past the Man Hillbillies with points to spare, taking the game 50-36.

Liberty got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Chloe MCghee out in front who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Ava Yates, who earned six points along with six steals and five boards.

Liberty was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Liberty's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Man, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty has already played their next contest (against Independence), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Man will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Grace Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 28th.
