Baseball Game Preview: Federal Way Eagles vs. Enumclaw Hornets

For the second straight game, Federal Way will face off against Enumclaw. The Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Federal Way has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with 13 straight defeats, while Enumclaw will come in with three straight victories.

Enumclaw hit Federal Way with a ten-run fourth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles lost 14-2 to the Hornets.

For Enumclaw's part, Oliver Potts was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those three hits gave Potts a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kannius Alva, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Enumclaw kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive games.

Federal Way's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Enumclaw, the win got them back to even at 10-10.
