            The Paraclete Spirits will challenge the Cajon Cowboys at 3:15  p.m.  on Thursday. The  squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Paraclete has struggled recently with six defeats in a row, while Cajon will arrive with five straight  victories.
Last Tuesday, Paraclete came up short against St. Paul  and fell  5-2.
 Jacob Draper was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  pitched six innings while giving up just two earned  (and three unearned) runs off   six  hits. Those  hits were  his first of the season.

 At the plate,  Julian Trejo and  Armando Saucedo did some serious damage despite the final result:  Trejo  scored a  run and  stole  Two bases. while going 2-for-3, while  Saucedo  scored a  run and  stole  Two bases. while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance gave  Saucedo a new career-high in  stolen bases. Another player making a difference was  Abraham Perez, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  RBI.
Meanwhile, Cajon owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Monday. Everything went their way against Adelanto as Cajon made off with  a  6-0 win.
Cajon let  Steven Rubio and  Caleb Koster run wild. Rubio  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double, while  Koster  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jordan Salazar, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  RBI.
 Cajon was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .462. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .318 or higher in five consecutive  matches.
 Cajon pushed their record up to 5-2 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Paraclete, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
