Basketball Recap: Sunset Comes Up Short

If Sunset was riding high fresh off their 63-42 takedown of Sandy last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Sunset Apollos took a blow against the Sherwood Bowmen on Friday, falling 85-55. The Apollos have struggled against the Bowmen recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Having lost for the first time this season, Sunset fell to 3-1. As for Sherwood, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Sunset and Lincoln will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sherwood will take on Grants Pass in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Sherwood's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
