Soccer Recap: Lafayette Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Lafayette and P.K. Yonge squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Lafayette had to settle for second. They came up short against the P.K. Yonge Blue Wave, falling 8-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Hornets haven't been shut out since back in January.

Lafayette's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8-1. As for P.K. Yonge, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2-1.

Lafayette does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for P.K. Yonge, they will take on Maclay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in P.K. Yonge's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last six matches.
