Baseball Game Preview: Silsbee Tigers vs. Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears

For the second straight game, Silsbee will face off against Little Cypress-Mauriceville. The Tigers will square off against the Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Silsbee is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Silsbee managed to slip by Little Cypress-Mauriceville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers lost 12-5 to the Bears on Tuesday.

Silsbee saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hudsyn Morris Hu, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Little Cypress-Mauriceville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Silsbee, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8-1.
