Volleyball Recap: Roxboro Community Makes It Three in a Row on the Road + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Falls Lake, Roxboro Community was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the East Wake Academy Eagles. The game was the first time the Bulldogs have beaten the Eagles on their court since October 15, 2018.

When it comes to explaining why East Wake Academy lost, don't look at Avery Schmidt. Despite the final result, she had 29 assists and 15 digs. Schmidt is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season. Emerson Morris was another key player, getting 13 kills, six digs, and two blocks.
