Basketball Game Preview: Weldon Chargers vs. KIPP P Pride

Weldon and KIPP P are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. Having just played yesterday, the Weldon Chargers will head out on the road to face off against the KIPP P Pride at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Weldon is looking for their season's first win.

Weldon is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Northampton County on Tuesday. Weldon lost to Northampton County on the road by a 53-38 margin.

Meanwhile, KIPP P ended up a good deal behind Roanoke Rapids on Tuesday and lost 48-34. The Pride have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Weldon's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for KIPP P, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Weldon beat KIPP P 69-61 in their previous matchup back in January. Will Weldon repeat their success, or does KIPP P have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
