Baseball Recap: Robstown Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Robstown, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Falfurrias Fightin' Jerseys 3-2 on Tuesday.

Robstown has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.33 runs across that stretch. The loss snapped Falfurrias' winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-6-2 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Robstown will head out to face off against Hebbronville at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Falfurrias, they will challenge Zapata at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Zapata 2.7, Falfurrias 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
