Volleyball Recap: Lake Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

Lake won the last time they faced Genoa Area, and Calli Conley did her part to make sure it happened again. The Flyers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Comets on Thursday thanks in part to Conley, who had 11 digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served three or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-8, 25-16.

Lake's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. As for Genoa Area, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake will face off against Eastwood at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Genoa Area, they will square off against Delta at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
