Basketball Recap: Brady Toler Key Part of a Team Effort in Eagles Win

It was a Battle of the Birds when Braxton County took on South Harrison on Saturday. The Braxton County Eagles managed a 61-55 win over the South Harrison Hawks. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Braxton County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brady Toler out in front who posted 18 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Toler continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Logan Baldwin, who went 5 for 12 to rack up 20 points in addition to five assists and three steals.

Braxton County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Braxton County's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for South Harrison, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
