Baseball Recap: Coeur D'alene Starts off Right with Win over Ridgeline

Coeur d'Alene had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Ridgeline Falcons a 15-0 shutout.

Will Beckenhauer made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Beckenhauer was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, Kolbe Coey was a standout: he scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Tyler Voorhees, who scored four runs and stole Five bases. while going 2-for-3.
