Winter Haven has gone 9-1 against Lake Gibson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Blue Devils will be playing at home against the Braves at 7:00 p.m. Winter Haven hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Winter Haven came into their game last Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against George Jenkins, falling 19-1.

Meanwhile, Lake Gibson came up short against Davenport on Tuesday and fell 9-4. The Braves have struggled against the Broncos recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Lake Gibson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Seymour, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, four RBI, and one run.

Winter Haven's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Lake Gibson, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.

Winter Haven was able to grind out a solid victory over Lake Gibson in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 7-4. Do the Blue Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Braves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
