Basketball Recap: Draughn Victorious

While Draughn has struggled at home with four straight losses, that wasn't the case on Thursday thanks to Cayden Lewis. The Draughn Wildcats blew past the Rosman Tigers, posting a 70-36 win thanks in part to Lewis, who made all 7 shots he took to post 16 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Draughn's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Rosman, they dropped their record down to 0-9 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Draughn didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-41 win against NCSSM: Morganton on the 14th. Rosman has also already played their next match, a 56-53 victory against Blue Ridge Early College on the 16th.
