Basketball Recap: Blue Valley Southwest Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Blue Valley Southwest can now relate to. They fell 63-54 to the Spring Hill Broncos on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-47 back in February.

Loss or not, Blue Valley Southwest got some senior leadership from Lily Unruh and Madison Mann. Unruh went 10-for-14 en route to 23 points, while Mann posted 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Unruh has scored all season.

Blue Valley Southwest's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Spring Hill, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Blue Valley Southwest nor Spring Hill have any future games scheduled.
