Volleyball Recap: Traders Point Christian Falls to Covenant Christian in First Game of Season

Traders Point Christian kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Covenant Christian Warriors.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-9.

Sam Quilhot paced Traders Point Christian's offense, picking up two kills. Quilhot got some help from Lheong Konyak and his five assists. Finally, Jakson Jones kept Traders Point Christian's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Traders Point Christian will challenge University at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Covenant Christian, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Beech Grove at 6:00 p.m. on April 9.
