Baseball Recap: Southwest Legacy Comes Up Short

Southwest Legacy lost against South San Antonio back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Titans took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bobcats.

Southwest Legacy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nate Araiza, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Southwest Legacy has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for South San Antonio, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Southwest Legacy will face off against rival MacArthur at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, South San Antonio is set to challenge their familiar foe McCollum at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
