Softball Game Preview: Ware Indians vs. Palmer Panthers

The Ware Indians are taking a road trip to take on the Palmer Panthers at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Ware is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

While Ware didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-8), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They had just enough and edged out Southwick Regional 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Indians have posted against the Rams since May 12, 2022.

Meanwhile, Palmer made easy work of Holyoke on Thursday and carried off a 10-1 win. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Purple Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Ware's record is now 5-2. As for Palmer, their record now sits at 6-7.

Ware beat Palmer 7-3 when the teams last played back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
