Basketball Game Preview: Whitehall Norse vs. Osseo-Fairchild Thunder

The Whitehall Norse just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Osseo-Fairchild Thunder at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Whitehall is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Blair-Taylor just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 43-31 to the Wildcats. The game marked the Norse's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Osseo-Fairchild also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Pepin/Alma by a score of 52-40. The Thunder have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Whitehall's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-6. As for Osseo-Fairchild, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-16.

Whitehall took their win against Osseo-Fairchild in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 61-41. Will Whitehall repeat their success, or does Osseo-Fairchild have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
