Meanwhile, Belton-Honea Path narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Ashley Ridge 10-9. Considering the Bears' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Walhalla's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Belton-Honea Path, their win bumped their record up to 13-2.

Walhalla suffered a grim 12-0 defeat to Belton-Honea Path in their previous meeting back in April of 2023. Can the Razorbacks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
