 Richmond Christian is 1-8 against Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Monday. The Richmond Christian Warriors will be staying on the road  to face off against the Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot Knights at 4:30  p.m. Richmond Christian will be strutting in after a  win while Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot will be coming in after a  loss.

At the plate,  Melton  scored two  runs while going 1-for-4, while  smith  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Deklen Matthews, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot fell victim to Central Virginia HomeSchool Athletic Association and their airtight pitching crew  on Saturday. They wound up on the wrong side of a  tough 16-0 walloping at the hands of the Patriots. Having soared to a lofty 12  runs in the game before, Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
 Richmond Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot's pitching crew has a tough task ahead of them:  Richmond Christian has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .450.
