Volleyball Recap: Englewood Pirates vs. Sheridan Rams
Englewood lost against Sheridan back in September, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Englewood Pirates fell just short of the Sheridan Rams by a score of 2-1.
Englewood actually scored more points across those three sets (48-47), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 7-25, 15-9.

Englewood has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Sheridan, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Englewood is on the road again on Thursday to play William Smith at 5:30 p.m. As for Sheridan, they will challenge SkyView Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sheridan is facing SkyView Academy at the right time seeing as SkyView Academy is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
