Cale Hatcher gave up the fewest walks he has since back in May of 2024 on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over 5.2 innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Hatcher and Pleasant Plains will look to defend their home field on Thursday against PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central at 4:30 p.m. Sadly, Hatcher's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Cardinals' four-game streak of wins on the road.
