Softball Preview: Schulenburg Shorthorns vs. Brazos Cougars
The Schulenburg Shorthorns will be taking part in a tournament against the Brazos Cougars at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Schulenburg and three for Brazos.
Schulenburg is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They fell just short of Moulton by a score of 17-15 on Tuesday.
Audrey Woytek and Summer Livingston did some serious damage despite the final result: Woytek scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-5, while Livingston scored three runs while going 4-for-5.
