Recap: Park Crossing Thunderbirds vs. Montgomery Catholic Knights
The Park Crossing Thunderbirds won the last time they faced the Montgomery Catholic Knights, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Park Crossing strolled past the Knights with points to spare, taking the game 63-44. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Park Crossing has managed all season.
Jayden Scott was his usual excellent self, scoring 13 points along with eight assists and four steals. It was the first time this season that he posted eight or more assists. Caden Anderson-teal was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.
Park Crossing has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season. As for Montgomery Catholic, they now have a losing record at 10-11.
Park Crossing won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Poets at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st. Montgomery Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
