After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chatham, Cranford was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 52-44 victory over the Oak Knoll Royals. The Cougars' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Cranford's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Oak Knoll, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cranford will welcome Elizabeth at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Oak Knoll, they will host Union Catholic at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Union Catholic will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Oak Knoll surely won't give up without a fight.
