Baseball Recap: Sullivan County Wins Going Away Against Columbia Montour Vo-Tech

Sullivan County won the last time they faced Columbia Montour Vo-Tech and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Griffins put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 12-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Griffins.

Keegan Bagley was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Barto, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

Sullivan County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .458. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in four consecutive contests.

Sullivan County's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Columbia Montour Vo-Tech, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Looking ahead, Sullivan County will challenge Millville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
