Basketball Game Preview: Guyer Wildcats vs. Heritage Coyotes + How To Watch

The Guyer Wildcats will square off against the Heritage Coyotes at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Guyer comes in on ten and Heritage on four.

On Tuesday, it was close, but Guyer sidestepped Denton for a 43-40 win.

Meanwhile, Heritage made easy work of Austin Prep Academy on Thursday and carried off a 94-71 victory. The Coyotes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 22 points or more this season.

Heritage had a senior duo take command as Cameron Lomax posted 44 points and Bryson Howard scored 30 points. Lomax's evening made it 28 games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points.

Heritage's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Guyer, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.

Everything came up roses for Guyer against Heritage in their previous matchup back in December of 2015, as the squad secured an 88-52 win. In that matchup, the Wildcats amassed a halftime lead of 51-23, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
