The Buckeye Bucks will square off against the North Olmsted Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Buckeye is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.5 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, Buckeye made easy work of Westlake and carried off a 13-4 win. The Bucks haven't had any issues with the Demons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

North Olmsted had taken Lakewood down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Eagles fell 4-1 to the Rangers.

Elena Scott spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on eight hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, North Olmsted saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Morgan Outrich, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

North Olmsted's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Buckeye, their win bumped their record up to 15-3-2.
