Recap: Brooklyn Tech Engineers vs. Robeson Business Tech Eagles
It was a good run, but the Brooklyn Tech Engineers unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 59-47 to Robeson Business Tech. Brooklyn Tech was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Robeson Business Tech apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
Several Engineers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Miles Wurmfeld, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Chadwyck Beckford, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Brooklyn Tech's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Robeson Business Tech, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-9.
Brooklyn Tech will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Midwood at 5:00 p.m. on January 31st. Midwood is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. Robeson Business Tech will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Sunset Park at 5:00 p.m. on February 2nd.
