On Wednesday Sydney Lambert struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). The effort also marked the fewest walks (one) Lambert has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her ninth in a row with more than five strikeouts. This year, she has an ERA of .77 over 45.3 innings pitched.
