Basketball Recap: Liberty Tech Magnet Comes Up Short

Liberty Tech Magnet lost against Riverside back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Liberty Tech Magnet Crusaders took a 67-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Riverside Panthers.

Jack Cupples was his usual excellent self, going 11 of 15 en route to 28 points and six rebounds for Riverside. Landon Swindle was another key player, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 11 boards.

Liberty Tech Magnet's loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Riverside, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Liberty Tech Magnet has already played their next matchup (against Scotts Hill), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Riverside didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 94-75 victory against Adamsville on the 31st.
