Soccer Recap: St. Aloysius vs. Brookhaven Academy
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. Aloysius can now relate to. They fell just short of the Brookhaven Academy Cougars by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The Flashes haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
St. Aloysius' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Brookhaven Academy, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 17-4-2.
St. Aloysius does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brookhaven Academy, they will stay at home for another game and welcome East Rankin Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. East Rankin Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Brookhaven Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
