Volleyball Recap: Kenosha Tremper Takes a Loss

Kenosha Tremper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Port Washington Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on September 6th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-12.

Emersyn Loose was the offensive standout of the match as she had ten digs and four aces. Those four aces gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sierra Hoeft, who had seven aces and three digs.

Kenosha Tremper's loss dropped their record down to 1-21. As for Port Washington, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

Kenosha Tremper has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Sheboygan South on the 27th. As for Port Washington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Campbellsport on the 27th.
