Basketball Recap: West Forsyth Starts Season with Victory at Home + How To Watch

West Forsyth gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Southeast Guilford Falcons 81-26. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Titans had established a 45-point advantage.

Southeast Guilford's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jayce Brannon, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 11 points, and Brodie Atkins, who posted eight points. Brannon has also also been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned: he's posted one of at least 63% every time he's hit the court this season.

Southeast Guilford now has a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Forsyth will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mount Tabor at 7:30 p.m. on December 2. As for Southeast Guilford, they will take on Ragsdale at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
