For the second straight game, Desert Oasis will face off against Shadow Ridge. The Diamondbacks will head out on the road to challenge the Mustangs at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Desert Oasis is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Desert Oasis is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Shadow Ridge, who was ranked 13th at the time (Desert Oasis was ranked seventh). The Diamondbacks narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Mustangs 5-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Diamondbacks.

For Shadow Ridge's part, they got a good showing from Jackson Nelson, who pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Nelson has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in ten consecutive appearances.
