Baseball Recap: Germantown Takes a Loss

Germantown managed to slip by Southwind the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Germantown Red Devils lost 14-4 to the Southwind Jaguars on Wednesday. The Red Devils just can't catch a break and have now endured eight losses in a row dating back to last season.

Cameron Leaks was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Bradyn Morris, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Germantown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Germantown will venture away from home to square off against Harding Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Southwind, they will square off against Memphis Central at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
