Recap: Charlotte vs. Ida Baker
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Charlotte walked away with it. They beat Ida Baker by a goal, winning 2-1. This was payback for Charlotte, who suffered a 8-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Hanna Hall and
Ava Hall, who scored both of Charlotte's goals. The pair have combined for a total of two so far this season.
Charlotte's win bumped their record up to 5-8-1. As for Ida Baker, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
Charlotte will square off against Fort Myers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ida Baker does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
