Baseball Game Preview: North Quincy Raiders vs. Scituate Sailors

The North Quincy Raiders are taking a road trip to square off against the Scituate Sailors at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games North Quincy has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Thursday, North Quincy didn't have quite enough to beat Plymouth North and fell 7-5. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Scituate wound up with the same score they had in their last game (3-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Scituate has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only 1.33 runs. As for North Quincy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.

North Quincy couldn't quite get it done against Scituate in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 as they fell 6-1. Can the Raiders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
