Soccer Recap: Freedom's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

If Freedom was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Cypress Creek last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Freedom Patriots fell 2-0 to the Apopka Blue Darters on Wednesday. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Patriots couldn't quite close it out.

Freedom's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-6-1. As for Apopka, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-6.

Freedom will take on Orangewood Christian in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Apopka, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Hagerty at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
