Volleyball Recap: Making Waves Academy Takes a Loss

Making Waves Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Quarry Lane Cougars, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-18.

Making Waves Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Quarry Lane, they pushed their record up to 15-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Making Waves Academy will face off against Bentley at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Quarry Lane, they will head out to challenge Holy Names at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
