Soccer Recap: University Find Success

After failing to score in their last game, University made sure to put some goals up on the board against Sage Hill on Tuesday. They beat the Sage Hill Lightning by a goal, winning 4-3. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Trojans' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit Sage Hill with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Simon Hodgkinson (2), Joseph Bohman, and Masoon Malki.

University's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-1-1. As for Sage Hill, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 1-1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. University will welcome Portola at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sage Hill, they will square off against Laguna Beach at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
