Volleyball Recap: South Lancaster Academy Comes Up Short

South Lancaster Academy was the 3-0 winner over Burncoat when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Crusaders lost 3-0 to the Patriots on Wednesday. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While South Lancaster Academy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-21, 25-20.

Kevin Rojas was a one-man wrecking crew For Burncoat. as he had six digs and four aces. The dominant performance also gave Rojas a new career-high in assists (40). Another player making a difference was Ibraham Osman, who had 12 digs.

South Lancaster Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Burncoat, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

South Lancaster Academy has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against University Park on the 1st. As for Burncoat, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Bay Path RVT on the 2nd.
