Basketball Game Preview: Roeper Roughriders vs. Inter-City Baptist Chargers

Roeper hasn't had much luck against Inter-City Baptist recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Roeper Roughriders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Inter-City Baptist Chargers at 6:00 p.m.

Roeper is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Southfield Christian and fell 74-43. While losing is never fun, the Roughriders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 595th, while the Eagles are ranked 181st).

Meanwhile, Inter-City Baptist entered their tilt with Plymouth Christian Academy on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 63-55 win over the Eagles.

Inter-City Baptist's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Roeper, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.
