The Spruce Mountain Phoenix scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Boothbay 89-45 at home. Spruce Mountain has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 24 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Boothbay still got an impressive performance from Finn Harkins, who scored 25 points along with seven rebounds. That was a full 55.6% of Boothbay's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Luke Morley was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds.

The victory makes it two in a row for Spruce Mountain and bumps their season record up to 12-6. As for Boothbay, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Spruce Mountain will take on York at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Maine (York is ranked 24th, while Spruce Mountain is ranked 44th). Boothbay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
