Softball Recap: Shenango Takes a Loss

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Shenango was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They fell 5-2 to the Moon Area Tigers.

Shenango saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sydney Byerly, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Shenango's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Shenango Wildcats face off against Beaver Bobcats at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Moon Area will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Blackhawk at 3:30 p.m. on March 24th.
