Baseball Game Preview: Cisco Loboes vs. Winters Blizzards

For the second straight game, Cisco will face off against Winters. The Loboes are taking a road trip to square off against the Blizzards at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Cisco will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

On Tuesday, Cisco made easy work of Winters and carried off a 14-4 win.

Case Williams was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 3.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Williams was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4. Cisco is undefeated when Williams posts two or more runs, but 5-6-2 otherwise.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Layton Busby, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Ty Rainey was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.

Winters is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7-1. As for Cisco, their record is now 9-6-2.
