The Palmdale Aerospace Academy takes loss despite strong efforts from Sir-Gavin Epps and David Romero

After a string of three wins, The Palmdale Aerospace Academy Griffins's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. The match between The Palmdale Aerospace Academy and Vasquez wasn't particularly close, with The Palmdale Aerospace Academy falling 74-58. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for The Palmdale Aerospace Academy in their matchups with Vasquez: they've now lost three in a row.

Despite the loss, The Palmdale Aerospace Academy had strong showings from David Romero, who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, and Sir-Gavin Epps, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Romero scored a full 37.9% of The Palmdale Aerospace Academy's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Mylan Thomas, who scored seven points along with three steals.

Vasquez's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kristopher Horton, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds.
