Softball Recap: Phoebus Phantoms vs. Bethel Bruins
After flying high against Warwick last Thursday, Phoebus came back down to earth. The Phoebus Phantoms took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bethel Bruins on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for Phoebus in their matchups with Bethel: they've now lost nine in a row.
Phoebus got a big performance out of Courtney Shelton, who went 1-for-4 with a triple, a run, and an RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariana Robinson, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
